Charitable
giving options
Generous
gifts help to improve patient care services, purchase equipment
and support the cost of building new facilities. Contributions to
our Endowment Funds help to support the future of Shore Health Services.
If
you itemize your taxes, you may deduct your gift of money or goods
to any Shore Health Services entity on your federal income tax return.
Most charitable gifts are completely exempt from gift and estate
taxes.
Members of our Development office would be happy to discuss with you the contribution of
any of the following:
n A one-time cash gift
n Appreciated, marketable stocks or securities

pledge with payments spanning several years (payroll deducted
or direct)
n Closely held securities

Matching
Gift programs are offered by many employers to contribute corporate
money to causes that are important to the company's employees. For
each dollar the employee contributes, the employer also contributes
a specified percentage, dramatically increasing the impact of the
employee's gift.
