RNs

All RNs must be graduate of an accredited RN program, with license in Virginia or compact state.

Charge Nurses:
2nd Floor Med/Surg/Tele
n Full time, various shifts (2 positions available)
Minimum 2 years experience in med/surg required. Telemetry experience preferred, but will train. Candidate must have excellent verbal, written and computer skills, as well as critical organizational and time-management skills.
Fourth floor
n Full time, Sun-Sat, 11p-7a
Minimum 2 years experience in med/surg required. Ideal candidate will have excellent verbal, written and computer ability, along with critical, organizational and time-management skills.

Nurse Managers:
Premier (Mental Health unit)
n Full time, days, 8a-4:30p
1 to 2 years of psychiatric nursing preferred. Current CPR required. Must have good communication skills, general computer knowledge and unit specific certifications/competencies.

RNs:
2nd floor
n Full time, various shifts (3 positions available)
2-4 years med/surg and telemetry preferred but will accept new grads.
4th floor
n Full time, various shifts
2-4 years med/surg preferred but will accept new grads.
Emergency Department
n Full time, various shifts (2 positions available)
At least 1 year of Med Surg and/or ER experience preferred. If candidate does not have ACLS & PALS it must be obtained within 1 year. CPR required, CEN preferred. Good organizational and time management skills required. Must be able to work well with all members of the health care team. Must work well independently with good critical thinking skills and customer-service focus.
ICU
n Full time, various shifts, including nights
2-4 years of med/surg or med/surg/tele preferred but will accept new grads. Requirements: some critical care experience, ability to be a team player, professionalism, compassion, basic computer knowledge, ability to multi-task, and CPR, ACLS & PALS (may be acquired within one year)
Maternity
n Full time, 7p-7a (2 positions available)
Must be eligible for neonate resuscitation program within six months of hire. New graduates welcome. Must take initiative, be customer friendly and be able to work as integral part of team.
Premier (Mental Health unit)
n Full-time
n Flexi
At least one year experience in psych or med/surg preferred but will train. Must be flexible.
OR
n Full-time, M-F, 8a-4:30p, plus call 2 days a week
n Flexi
1-2 years experience preferred but will accept new grads. OR experience desirable. Current CPR required.

Weekend Supervisor - Shore LifeCare at Parksley
n Part time, 7a-3p
1-2 years experience in long-term-care setting preferred, but will accept graduate nurses. Current CPR required.

LPNs

Current Virginia LPN license required.

Shore Healthcare at Home
n Part time, various shifts, M-F
n Full time, various shifts, M-F
Home Health experience preferred. Must have excellent communication and organizational skills, as well as reliable transportation to patient homes. Current Virginia driver's license and automobile insurance required.

Med/Surg/Tele
n Part time (rotating)
n Full time (Sun-Sat)
One to two years experience preferred but will accept new grads. Must have basic computer skills and current CPR. Must be compassionate and customer-service oriented. Three positions available. 

Shore Medical Center at Metompkin
n Flexi, M-F
1 to 2 years experience preferred, but will accept graduate nurses. Basic computer skills and current CPR required. Must be compassionate and customer-service oriented.

CNAs

Current Virginia CNA license required.

Med/Surg/Tele
n Full time, days, various shifts
Long-term care experience preferred but will train. Must be professional and able to work with older population. Must be caring, flexible team player with positive attitude.
