Family practitioner Rosa King, who also speaks Spanish, is now seeing patients at Shore Medical Center
at Metompkin. Originally from Crisfield,
Md., she moved to the Virginia
Shore nine years ago from Georgia.
She is a four-year ovarian cancer survivor
who credits her own quick-thinking
doctors for saving her life. “That’s
the approach I try to take with my patients,”
King said. “Sometimes even a
few days can make a difference.” |
We provide:
n Complete primary and family care services
n Pre-op registration and testing every Tuesday and Thursday. Get blood work, exams, paperwork, X-rays and EKGs done without having to drive far.
n Mammograms on Wednesdays and Fridays. Our equipment is identical to that used at the hospital. Call 757-414-8747 to schedule.

n Consultations by Dr. David Lingle, chief of surgery at Shore Memorial Hosptial, every Wednesday. Call 442-3598 to schedule.

Nurse Practitioner Margot Gorske offers a wide range of experience, from pediatrics to internal medicine to psychiatry and family medicine. She is convinced that patients actually receive better medicine when the entire family is known to the clinician. |
