Visiting
hours
Formal
visiting hours are 11 a.m. to 8:30 p.m.
To protect patients and visitors from infection, no
one under the age of 12 is allowed to visit patients in the hospital. Special
care units may establish an informal or flexible visiting schedule
based upon a patent's special needs. The number of visitors per
patient may be regulated based upon patient needs and desires provided
that visits do not infringe upon the delivery of patient care and
the needs of other patients.
Smoking
policy
In an effort to promote a healthy environment for all, Shore
Memorial Hospital is smoke-free.
Smoking areas are provided outside the facility.
Gift
shop
The
Carousel Gift Shop, operated by the Shore Memorial Hospital Auxiliary, is located on the first floor near the main entrance. The
shop offers a wide selection of gift items and flowers. Hours are
Monday through Friday, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., and Saturday 1 p.m. to
6 p.m.

service
Shore
Memorial Hospital's Dietary Department is dedicated to providing
nutritious, attractive and delicious meals to our visitors. A variety of menu items including light snacks, hot
and cold foods, beverages and desserts are offered. The hospital
cafeteria is on the first floor near the elevators.
