Patient-focused care means that instead of seeing you as a walking, talking illness or injury, we look at the whole person. To us, Jimmy isn't just a boy with a broken arm. He's also someone whose stomach is upset because he's scared about going in for Xrays. We address all those problems while he's here.
And when Jimmy and his family leave the hospital, they're not on their own. If they need further help, we can refer them to one of the hundreds of specialists in our healthcare network. They might go on to visit Dr. Butkovich at Shore Orthopedic Associates, for example.

Our resources and technology are truly amazing. Riverside Shore Memorial is a credit to community hospitals everywhere, and particularly to the people here — because it was ordinary citizens who raised the funds to start the hospital. Back then it was a 25-bed facility that opened about the
time of the Great Depression. Today we're certified as a 143-bed facility with an amazing range of care — from our Skilled Nursing Facility, to our Intensive Care and Emergency departments and more. |
